#513 Duel Rec Value and info

My local store has a Duel Rec #513. Its in really good shape. Has el34's. The store is asking $800. I know I can get it for way less since a friend runs the store. Any info and value would help. Thanks.

Buy the amp.

I think Rev C went to 516, in which case you could resell the amp for $1800+ ... but it's been so long I could be confusing numbers.

If it turns out it's a revision D then it'll be worth less, but you could probably sell it for $1200 if the head shell is in decent shape and you're not in a rush (market's slow during the summer).

No cash right now. I can have my friend put it in the back and hold it. Hell its been hiding out with the bass amps for almost a year. I don't think anyone knows about it.
