My band just got done mixing our new ep. It was done at a guy's home studio giving it a raw rock sound which is what we were going for. I posted the first track yesterday looking for advice on mixing. I applied those tips as much as I could and I think they turned out well.

It was recorded using my mesa tov and tc g major. All controlled by my dmc ground control pro and played with my gibson explorer(emg's 85 and 81)

Thanks for listening

listening to the governor right now and it sounds nice. good job.

I like the governor although distorted rhythm guitars are to low to my tastes. They sound weak,I don't know if it is because the low volume or because the recording process

Thanks for the kind remarks guys! I totally agree with the low volume on the ryhthm guitars. I told the studio guy to bring them up and he thought i was crazy. The rest of the band thought they sounded ok too... so after i continued to push my thoughts he succombed and raised them only 2 dbs to where they are now. I hate when studio engineers don't do what you the artist tell them to do.

But hey thanks again for listening! :D
