Hi guys,

Can someone tell me when my dual recto was produced? ID is R-017681. I think it's a very early version of the 3 channel head. There's also no "loop active" marking above the Solo and Output controls, which is something I always saw on other dual rectifiers.

That's cool and unusual indeed. Doesn't have the ® symbols on the Dual Rectifier logo either.
 
Yeah, this is from the first run of the 3 channel amps in early 2000. Most of them used the tranny/chokes from the 2 channel amps.
 
My dual rec was made in May 2001 with serial R-021xxx. So early 2000, perhaps late 99 would be about right. I think i called or emailed mesa and they told me when it shipped.
