2:ninety Level input

Hi!!! I wanted to know how you guys connect your triaxis to the 2:90... In the manual of both of them it did not say... In the 2:ninety manual it only says that if you have too much signal in your system, you must select Line Level... But this is not clear at all... something I hate about boogie manuals...

It should be very obvious that the instrument input is meant for ... well, instruments! For example, plugging a guitar straight to the power amp. All preamps and studio equipment in general operate at line level.
