I own a dual rectifier 2 channel. I recently had an ldr repaired because of a squealing problem from the distorted channel. When I got the amp back, the eq seems to be working funny.
I set my bass and mid knobs to 0. When I turn the clean channel's treble knob all the way down to 0, the amp volume goes up as well as the bass frequency coming out of the amp. When I turn the treble knob to 10, the volume of the amp seems to go down and bass is removed from the tone being amplified. I don't remember this happening before. The newer roadster's eq doesn't work this way.
1. Is there anyone that owns a 2 channel dual rectifier that can confirm that this is actually how the amp is supposed to function?
2. If not, can replacing a ldr that is effecting the distorted channel change the way the eq knobs work?
* I did check this and other forums for an answer to this question and didn't find anything. I apologize if this has already been covered.
