I have a 2 channel dual rectifier. which has a parallel fx loop so I here. I run a EQ pedal in the loop now for a lead volume boost,but over all have a very simple tonefull sound for playing bands like Lenny Kravitz, Slash,Jet. But when we play bands like Van Halen and other old metal bands my sound is lacking somthing.
So I was thinking maybe i should try out some rack fx units.
So my question is, Do I need to get a loop mod to series?
and if I do why? shouldnt the amp come with a working fx loop?
