Does anyone know the major differences between the 2:90 and the newer 2:100 when used with a Triaxis (other than the volume factor!). I know that the 2:100 is supposed to give more of a rectifier sound but it says in the manual that it doesn't come with rectifier tubes! What's that all about? Reason I ask is that I'm trying to decide which one I should invest in. Cheers

I will probably say the obvious but 2.90 was made for triaxis and 2.100 was made for rectfier pre.
If you have a triaxis buy a 2.90 wich is its pair.
They are perfect together.
Why do you want to separate them ?
And 10 watts more per channel is almost nothing !
No volume changing at all.
So stay with the perfect couple . :p

I agree , 2:90 is the best tri axis "partner" :)[/quote]

I wish I have money to buy this couple , now I'm keeping my nomad. :D

I have 2.90 but I don't have a triaxis.So I don't have the couple.
Dude get out of my back.
What is your problem ?

I retubed my 2.90 and I'm selling it.
If you want it send me PM .
I already had a nomad and bought 2.90 for in a near future buy triaxis but I'm out of money so I'll sell 2.90 and stay with my nomad.
Get out of my back stranger

I had the couple TA/2:90, I sold the 2:90 (weight...ouch!!!!) and now have a slim trim and fit couple in the TA-20/20.....arguably just as perfect a fit as with the 2:90. After a month of gigging with the reduced weight, trust me, you will not miss the modes on the 2:90
