1978 MKII...pull two tubes question

Can one pull two tubes and run a MKII the amp on the in cab speaker out of the 8 ohm jack?

You don't need to pull any tubes on a 60/100 MkII, just throw the switch. I have run my Simul MkII with only the outer pair installed, in the Class-A switch position. This was for a short period while testing preamp tubes, though. The manual suggests when running a 60/100 in 60 watt mode, to switch to the 4 ohm jack with an 8 ohm speaker load.

THanks for the info, Joey. A friend has a problem with one tube gone bad, and he wants to play the amp while waiting for new tubes.
