This is the dealer that I got my cream '77 MK I from. 60/100w, Reverb 1x12 EV12L. No electronic mods or repairs inside at all, untouched. Outside needed a little clean-up but that's it. Sounds great. $1195. Not for sale!!
The 100w definitely makes a big differnce in the depth and bottom end of the amp as well as the headroom. I have another Mk I with EQ and never use the EQ. My Mk I's sound fine without it. My 60w Mk IIB needs a little EQ. I make the bottom end little broader by boosting 80 to the top line and 240 between flat and the top line. Works for me.
