15 speaker with MarkIV

Has anyone ever tried a 15" speaker with the Mark IV.
I'm thinking it might be cool on the clean channel but I'm not sure how it would fare on the others. It could work though.
I used to play an old Fender Vibrosonic with a 15 and I really dug the clean tone.

I saw from Boogiewan Kenobi's Boogie history pages that there were several marks (including some early Mark IVs) made as a 1/15 combo.

These seem to be in especially high regard among Pedal and Lap Steel guitar players. That would indicate to me that they may be great for clean tones.

Mk2B harwood with a 15" speaker came up on eBay a while ago, went for big bucks if I recall.

I was watching an old Santana video the other day and noticed back in his Mahavishnu days (early 70's) he was using a 1x15 combo.
