105 transformer on a 60 watt MKIII?

No, but it is possible that someone may have had it done. The 60W amps sit at a nice cozy 448V to the plates
and the 105 in Simul is 483V on a good day. When switching to class A, it generally jumps to 490-495V to the
outer pair as the current draw from the inner is gone. Those voltages are brutal on a tube, especially the spike from
switching to Class A. If they are too hot they will not last very long. the overall result of a 105 in a 60W would be
pushing the wattage up, higher volume, headroom and shortened tube life. :mrgreen:
