Does anyone have anything close to it... they have a great rhtym tone and what i love is that its not a REALLY REALLY high gain sound.. its just so pure and clear but it still has balls... I know double track recording has alot to do with it.. but i just cant seem to get it Just.. right... Ill have some clips up of my best attempts if anyone just replies...

Cheers

i just downloaded & listened the song "wasteland"... the rhythm part distortion isn't actually very high-gain, and this often is a good thing because that kind of sound can easily cut through the mix, and the rhythm part seems bigger and more "solid". With more gain, distortion will become fuzzy and muddy, so without definition, and the guitar part will become definitely less direct to your ears and less defined in the mix.
I'm sure you can obtain these tones with your triple rectifier... but, as you said, double track recording makes a huge difference. If you're able to record a clip, you should try double track recording and you will notice the immediate improvement of your sound.
