Hi everyone. I recently acquired a half open Mesa 4X12. Great cabinet, but I may want to close the top portion. Mesa does not sell or make the half back for the top. I am wondering if any custom builders or companies would do something like this? Thanks, Jeff

It turns out that, regardless of what the back plate says, these aren't Eminence speakers at all. When I took the bottom half off, the cabinet has EVM 12Ls in it. I believe these are the 200 watt Electro Voice speakers. No wonder when I plugged in my Mark IV it almost ripped my head off...

Not a Mark V 25/Rectoverb 25 but I run my regular Mini Recto through an over sized 4X12 straight cabinet with V30s. Not flabby at all. Tight, punchy and overall it sounds great.

Thanks for your response! What's been a fun side effect is that I really never played my Mini Recto with the loop bypassed. The amp definitely has a different vibe and tone that way and sounds very good.
