    A friend of mine told me that the lead 1 is better than lead 2. But if you pull the volume pots to get much distortion than you can't have a clean channel, because you've pulled the volume pot. Is it possible? Thanks

    Thanks for the answers! As i said, i want to buy a mark IV head, because my dc5 sounds too dark (i'm not able to explain you well :( ). I've to rise the volume very much to hear myself while playing (i use te V eq setting and i've just changed the power tubes). So i want some more midgained...

    Yes, i know it's impossible to copy jp's rig! So my dc5 is closer to a mark than a rectifier...And what do you think about a rack solution (triaxis + 20/20 or 50/50)?
