I just got it back from mesa with two of my original tubes which were red and two new green ones. I'm assuming it's safe as they are close in the scale anyways. Thanks for the reply though, I'll check the manual and see if it mentions it.

Hey Guys, I have a lonestar classic and am currently running a pair of "red" 6L6 in the outside sockets and a pair of "green" in the inside pair. Will this cause any issues running in 100w mode?

+1 for the BB I have the stiletto and the BB and it's an awesome awesome combo.....

I love both the bold and spongy modes on my stiletto.... i think they both have their uses. Usually use the spongy with the crunch modes and bold with the fluid drive mode.

All the Xotic stuff is great.... I have the BB preamp and I really like the tone controls on it, you can dial in less or more bass and treble and really get whatever sound your after. I personally don't like EQ's for anything accept fine tuning to compensate for different types of rooms but, if...
