    Mesa 2x12 Vertical/Slant Cab w/ wheels

Bought new in 2000. Came with two Celestion Vintage 30s. However, I upgraded and replaced one V30 with a G12H30. Puts wattage at 100 watts. Killer combination. Speakers are in excellent condition. A few small tolex scuffs from moving in/out but in nice shape. No grille tears. I can provide...

First Mark V (no, 5) photo

Petrucci's guitar tech said Petrucci has played the Mark 5 and he (the tech) has as well. The Mark 5 head is apparently sitting on the "tech bench" and appears intermittently on the far upper right in this shaky youtube footage (looks like a long head): http://youtube.com/watch?v=RXO94TJwjoA...

    More Mark 5 fodder

I know I have the name, and I know I have next to zero posts, but take this for what you will from a poster on another page (from Huge Racks forum): I hadn't gone to Rudy's in a couple of months and decided to go today. So I get there and go straight to the tiny amp room at the back. Only to...

12L vs. Others: Does the 12L make your amp sound gainer?

I gigged with a IIC+ combo w/ EV and a 2x12 cab with v30s (the upright Caliber cab). 95% of the time when at home I just ran through the v30s. I have a single recording of a wedding I did using just the combo (EVM) and it is the best recorded tone I have ever had. Very smooth, creamy, and...

Can anyone here do a comaprison for me? JSX VS mark IV

THe JSX is WAaaay brighter and thinner sounding than the Mark IV. I will never forget hearing Satriani through his JSX next to Andy Timmons with his LSC. Andy's tone won hands down. Not even close. It cut through better and did not sound brittle as the JSX did.

List all the Boogies you've owned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark IV Mark IIC+ w/ EV Heartbreaker Triaxis 50/50 2:90 Never should've sold the IIC+. Probably shouldn't have sold the Mark IV, but I had a problem with not being able to distinguish any sonic difference whether I picked in the "normal" position, closer to the bridge, up on the neck, etc...

    New Mesa amp rumor!!

Smell what you will. I don't keep tabs on everything Mesa, but I ain't no rookie with them, either! :) Actually, I was implying that since they have reissued amps before (Mark I), and they have said--in print--that they would have reissued a Mark III (of course the time frame is/was...

    New Mesa amp rumor!!

I can't see any reason they wouldn't reissue the Mark IIC+. The Randy Smith comment about "I've moved on..." just doesn't seem right. It contradicts two things from the 1998-2000 era catalogs and the current amp lineup: (1) There is a Mark I reissue and (2) they still produced the Mark III...

MKIIC to a MKIIC+ - How do you go about it?

I think the phone number should be on Boogie's website. I'd just call up and tell them what you want to do. I'm sure they can handle the rest.

NEED HELP: Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+

Hi gang. First post here in a long while. (I had to re-register.) I am looking for the owner of a certain Mark IIC+ I sold and figured he *might* be on this board. My eBay history won't go back as far as I'd like. I don't have the serial number, but it's unique enough to describe it. The...
