yes i was gonna say, if you want chunk, definatly switch to silicon and bold. try these . presence 12:00 - 1:00 ( or to taste) bass 10:30 gain 1:00 treble 1:00 mid:11:00 master 9:00 - as loud as you can stand it, up to 12:00( you probably wont be able to get it to 12:00 without ear plugs)...

interesting about the SLO. amazing amp. but after recently A/B ing it against a dual rectifier solo head. i cant say i prefer it over the recto. first i thought the bass of the slo was unsurpassed and that the mesa bass was flubby, end of story. my comparison revealed something very different...

yeah i think it is imbuya. its in decent shape , maybe a few very minor dings , but i didnt notice any. ill take some more detailed pics when i get the amp home. but i wont likely be separating it from its cab. thanks for the input...

yeah i was thinkning it might have been because of the hardwood /wicker cabinet... it seems a bit high. although they did take 800 dollars in trades as the down payment.

. . this is a mark III minus the boogie logo(easy to replace) blue stripe i think, serial # 24.... i saw it at avenue guitars in edmonton, and had to have it since ive never had a mark III. presently own a MK IV which i really like, but everybody claims something special about the mark III...

If your using the external switching of your roadster you don't use the roadster footswitch!! Unhook it and put it away. You hook the external switching jacks into either individual footswitches or preferably a midi switcher and midi footcontroller. I recomend the voodoo lab gcx audio switcher...

well i have no problem drilling a hole, its already got lots of holes anyway, one more shouldnt hurt. i dont understand what you mean by wire length and signal degradation? what wire ? how much wire lenth needs to be added, the wire for the footswitch, obviously does no tpass any signal
