The Fillmore is not a loud amp IMO, especially compared to other 50 watts amp(more 40 watts I think), but I never lacked volume with my band. Nowadays I also use a Fillmore 23 1x12 cab, because I love to play with 2+ speakers.

I put an Alnico Creamback in my Fillmore 50 combo, and it sounds great. More depth and width overall. Nothing bad to say about the C90, I still use one in the Fillmore extension cab, and they work great together.

May sounds stupid, but how does it works? Is it the same as a buffer in a pedal? Seems like there is some tone sucking with the pedals in the loop, and I was wondering if the loop's buffer could not get along with a buffer pedal I might add to the chain.

Got my new Roadking 2x12 cab last weekend. I'm VERY happy with this rig...sounds huge and awesome!

:D That's why I put "half-stack" in comas. Since I have a 2x12 combo + the 2x12 cab, it's a half-stack to me! :wink:
