My Roadster is bad for popping. My Stiletto is silent. I do leave the reverb switched on all the time and cycle through the channels while on standby and that helps a lot.

The only solid state amp I would consider is the Crest 4801 for obvious reasons with the Studio Preamp. But that depends on if you are a big Nirvana fan or not.

You don't have any Russian preamp tubes in the cathode follower positions do you? I believe they are V3 and V5. Other than that I would suggest contacting Mesa and asking them.

I actually bought a bunch of these last year for Black Friday and I love them! My Stiletto footswitch was killing me barefoot.

I couldn't agree more! I know I suck at playing guitar, but I only do it for me. So what if I have two 100 watt heads and six 12" speakers in a bedroom, it makes me happy!

You don't have any spare tubes to try out? I can't say for sure it is a tube problem, but that's the first place I would look.

I did end up getting a Stiletto Deuce II and I am running the 6ca7's I had in my Roadster in it. I went back to the 6l6's because the first set of 6ca7 tubes I had one red plate on me. Didn't damage anything, so I sent them back under warranty and got a slightly colder biased set. I tried them...

You most likely have a bad power tube and shouldn't turn the amp on again till they are both replaced. It will keep blowing fuses till it's fixed. You only need to warm the tubes up for a minute or so, any more isn't doing anything to help.

The Stiletto is an amazing amp that would be perfect if it had two clean and dirty channels with reverb like the Roadster.
