Finally the PT arrived today.... Put it in and tried it out.... Working ok Plug the Strat in HOLY COW! This amp Rocks! Stomped on the lead and it almost broke the windows! Now to assemble the Hot Plate! George Rocket 44 repair service!

I found out about mesa when I saw Ice T and Body Count way back about 91' or so. They had dual stacks of Dual Rec's Super thick sound! never could afford one untl...... just recently bought a dead rocket 44 that is now resurrected and waking the neighbors!

called MB today and ordered the Power transformer. 45$ also they emailed the schematic in 3 minutes! Great service! George

Had a few bad resistors that smoked also had a short between a PS diode and a resistor Got the filaments to light but then DISASTER! The power transformer went up in smoke...... Does MB sell transformers???? George

Hi folks just bought a rocket 44 that would blow the fuse on turn on. I pulled it apart to look and found a group of resistors were hot enough to discolor the board. They were a bunch of 365 ohm resistors I think they are a part of the filament chain but this is a guess. I dont have a...
