    GOOD BAIT !

I actually posted a query on Mesa Boogie Facebook page and had some replies. Regretably as I'm using the computer during my lunchtime in work, I can't get access to FB

    GOOD BAIT !

Mesa certainly do have a sense of humour. On the back of the amp there is a warning "Do not expose this unit to rain, moisture or thieves"

    GOOD BAIT !

Cheers Dom I bought the amp second hand a good few years ago and use it for larger venues - 'cos it's **** loud!! It's not bothering me in itself and I love the tone. My mate is a professional amp tech and stocks Sovtek tubes so I can get "mates rates" on them - I guess I'll revalve the 12 ax...

    GOOD BAIT !

Here's the photos Sometimes when something degenerates over a period of time it's difficult to say if the amps tone is somewhat compromised. It was certainly noisy the other night when the amp was switched on.

    GOOD BAIT !

Took the F50 (combo) out of it's case as I want to do some cleaning on the valve bases. The amp still has the Mesa 12 AX 7 tubes in there and I notice that V2's valve is black at the head of the tube whereas the others are silver? However when I took the chassis out I notice that written on...

    1x12 or 2x12?

    Mesa Engineering F50

So I experienced Mesa Customer Service for the first time and I was impressed to say the least - I had a reply from them that very same day which I think I'll share with the forum. They said... Initially the F-series amps left the factory with no logo and later adopted the Mesa/Boogie badge...

    Mesa Engineering F50

^ I'm going to have to put it through the speaker in my Marshall - a G12 Vintage Celestion and se how it works out. I like the cleans and find the treble no problem. A mate of mine has an F50 and he's changed the speaker too - I'll have to find out what he put in his. Wanna sell your speaker...

    Mesa Engineering F50

OK so this is my first post having become the proud owner of an F50. What a wonderful amp it is. I've been hanging around on the Ernie Ball Forums a lot because of my passion for their Albert Lee guitars. Anyway my question is (and please be gentle with a newbie!) why does my F50 have the Mesa...
