FS/FT 1994 Mesa Boogie Tremoverb head

Hi all, Due to lack of use of this, and GASsing for a Kemper, my Tremoverb head is up for sale. Full details and more images can be found here, but the main details are as follows: 1994 built 100W Tremoverb head in excellent condition, relatively early serial number. No switching problems, no...

    WTT Black Kemper Lunchbox

Did you ever get sorted with this? I've started to look at the Kemper as something to play about with, and as I'm not using my Tremoverb head any more have been considering selling it on to fund a Kemper. Interested?

    Has anyone ever......

No, but I've run the following before: guitar->jmp-1->DC-3 guitar in (clean channel)->speaker. Just need to be careful of levels so as not to get nothing but a noisy buzz, but that setup gave me some really nice industrial sounds, and some very nice crunchy ones too. Just start off with the...

Check out the modded DC-3 I just bought!

It'd be interesting to see what the mods are and what they do if you don't mind sharing your experience and gut shots?

Anyone ever build a head enclosure?

I screwed and glued mine, but I was doing my first one and wanted something quick and dirty ;) I had considered, and assume would be ok, to drill a number of holes where you'd expect to screw, and then insert and glue dowel rods (as well as gluing sides together), and then cutting down dowel to...

    Post your DC Rigs

Old pics of mine. Bought an Orange PPC412 and ended up doing a DIY conversion from combo to head (combo still in one piece in case it ever goes back to original). My first foray into Mesas, and my first valve amp :) It's an early pre-200 serial number, definitely a keeper.

    Tremoverb send loop pot

Yeah I've got that thanks :) Also got the schematic, but all that tells me is what rating it is, not what type. I could ask the Mesa guys in the UK, they've previously been helpful, but I should have some new Allan/Hex keys on the way as the ones I have don't fit. They should arrive this week...

    Tremoverb send loop pot

Hi folks, Does anybody know what type of potentiometer is used for the send side of the fx loop on a '94 tremoverb? Mine has definitely gone, but I can't find my tools to undo the grub screw to get the knob off. I believe it's a 25K linear, but want to double check. Does anyone know what...

Anybody done a US->UK voltage conversion?

Kaz, I am indeed in Britain, Gloucester is about 120 miles away from me, so a bit of a trek, but will keep it in mind thanks :) Stuart, thanks for the part numbers and the other thing you mentioned (whatever it is ;) ) :)

Anybody done a US->UK voltage conversion?

lento, I've seen the second thread, not the first one, thanks :) Will have a good read. Read some other stuff on gearpage, but as this is related directly to Mesa amps, thought I'd ask those that may have done it :) VP, I'm in Crich near Matlock. I assume that a call to Mesa distributor will...

Anybody done a US->UK voltage conversion?

Hi all, has anybody done a 110v->240v transformation on their dual rec? If so, what's involved? There's a couple of US origin heads over here in the UK that I'm interested in and would prefer to not have to run with the step down transformer. Is it just a case of changing the power transformer...

    1992 Dual Rectifier Pre 500

Why was the auction pulled? Three bleedin' times that's happened to me now (not all Mesa stuff) :(

    1992 Dual Rectifier Pre 500

Shhhhhhh! I have it on my watch list, but I fear it's going to go way over what I'd pay for it (despite not having a definite figure in mind yet!)

    Mark IV + DC-3 + A/B/Y = Heaven.

After reading all this, I've started thinking about pairing up my DC-3 with my Diezel Einstein. I don't have an A/B/Y pedal, and it would really be to hear them running in Y config all the time, and after some tinkering, I think I can split my guitar signal with my Boss NS-2. Only did a simple...
