ARE THESE OK FOR MY DUAL RECTO?

Hello, any a advise is appreciated. I have burchased a matched quad of SED EL34 tubes for my 2 channel dual recto but I am unsure if they are a direct replacement or will the amp require rebiasing. The boxes of the tubes are marked as below: 32/4.5 32/4.5 32/4.3 32/4.4 I have done a little...

Volume difference between 2ch recto & 3ch recto

Yes, send levels are the same, might try the tube swap and see what happens. I thought there may have been a general known fact about different ouput levels between models.

Volume difference between 2ch recto & 3ch recto

Sounds like a stupid question but it is a situation I'm currently experiencing. I have a 2ch recto and my co-guitarist has a 3ch recto and he has a lot more volume at his disposal. We have all the same settings - bold, high power, channel volume, loops engaged etc. I'm using a mesa cab with...

    Dead Tube??

Hey all, Havent had much trouble with my Mesa heads before but I think I have a dodgy tube, when I turn amp on it is making a buzzing sound only. The amp actualy died at the end of band practice the other night and I have just turned it on again. Does this sound like a dodgy tube?? Cheers

    Proud 3ch Triple Rectifier Owners

I am also a proud owner of a 3 ch dual rec.....I love it. I have previously owned a single rectoverb, a 3 ch triple and the dual is my fav by far. It took me a few weeks of tweaking, during band practice, to get the sound out of it that I was looking for....but now I have.....CRUSH!!!! Sure...

What do you guys run through you're dual rectifiers?

I run a boss tu-2 tuner, ns-2 noise supressor and boss super overdrive (clean boost setting only) this combined with an EMG 81 = CRUSHING SOUND. :)

    Single Rec or Dual?

I have owned the single and now own a dual, I prefer the dual over the single as to me the sound is tighter with the dual and heaps louder. I found myself running out of oumph with only the single, the dual kills. Plus on the newer duals you have 3 channels as opposed to two on the single...
