A bit of a feeler ...
$425 I have a Studio .22+ No issues. One minor tear. Picture upon request.
Just that I'm going with dual mini amps : Rect 25 and Vox AC15 to gig with. That ought to cover every style from Pop to metal.
I placed it on Craiglists and those inquired are planning to...
I'm building a 4x12" Recto type enclosure. Are the speaker rear mount or front mount? Not that it matters 'cause my enclosure the speakers could mount either way. Its that when I first mount them, I want to mount them like a stock Recto enclosure.
Another question, its going to be a "straight"...
Way back in an interview with Randall Smith the interviewer asked : "So Randall, what's new amp design are you thinking about for the future?"
-- this was before the "lunch pail" amps making the big splash on the market --
Randall Smith answered he was thinking about Signature Model MESAs, say...
Yes, and No if these Sylvania 6L6s are same as MESA's STR-415s.
I get the impression when these Sylvania tubes were abundance, MESA would had their specification and testing them all and weed out the ones that didn't meet their specifications.
So those you mentioned selling on E-Bay may meet...
I'm building a 4 x 12" Recto dimensions. The perimeter boards are already cut and dovetail-ed.
Should I design
- a straight front (like the bottoms),
- a straight front with a slight tilt (something like 1 or 2 eg.) ,
- an angle top (like your Marshall 1960A, I think 7 deg.),
- or that...

What's a silent cabinet (or isolation speaker chamber) you asks?
Its a speaker enclosure enlcosed in another enclosure with a mic like an SM57 or E609 well insulated and fairly sound proof so you won't be disturbing your neighbor. -- aw I can't explain it so google it and you should get some...
Go to the Weber Forum and post a question in the "Enclosure" forums. Yes you have to be a member [its free] but these members could point out everything you need to know from joints, tolex installation, grill installation. they'll post dimensions and what material to use.
... and best of all...
Don't you just love this Boogie? Its so un-like Boogie sounding like its sibling the Blue Angel.
Here's my question, I need the dimension for a 4x10 combo Maverick, height in particular. I have the 2x12" combo but like to build a 4x10" combo enclosure. I know I could select any abritary height...
It suck to be unemployed especially if you are in the IT field. I suppose it's a good time to hone your skills, so I'm learning how to do animated GIF format.
This is the evolution of MESA Boogie logos [3]
"Boogie"
"MESA/BOOGIE"
"MESA ENGINEERING"

I like my Studio .22 for bedroom level or meddling in home recording.
But I don't need as much preamp tube distortion saturations. My lead channel preamp gain is like 1.5, I find anything after 4 un-useable, I don't need all that extra gain.
Do I change V1 tube to say 5751 or 12AT7 or do I...
