Thanks. I went to TUBE STORE online and indicated my need for tubes for a MarkII B then discovered thanks to you folks that it is a MarkII A. So the tubes will not work? I need to have the bias adjusted? Any recommended techs in NJ area?

I looked under the chassis and it is indeed dated March 5, 1980.....thank you! Should have checked. So it is MK 2 A.... Just ordered some vintage tubes ....for 2B....will they work?

Serial # 4868.....60W wicker Cane.....Can anyone help date? I bought around 1980 but can't remember exactly.

Whenever I turn the drive past 7 the amp squeals horribly. happens on both of my main guitars.....any help or ideas are much appreciated. tubes are new ( in fact have been swapped with other tubes just to be sure ) Thanks!!!!

OK...first, PRS guitars are definately using CNC machines but they have been for many years....this is at the earliest stage of construction...much of the work is still done by hand ( tour the factory and you'll see ) the guitars to my hands and ears play better than most major brands and have...

Hi, I've tried almost all the PAF clones out there....test guitar is an Historic 1999 R9 through 1980 Mesa Mark ll A....These are my favorites: 1) Timbuckers...available from Tim White himself...waiting list but worth it. 2) Lollar Imperials...sound great... 3) Wolfe Dr. Vintage....very nice...

Thanks for your comment. Even during live gigs, I rarely have the master volume past 2....although the far left vol is at 7-8

Any problems pushing a TT 12" Alnico with my Mark lla? TT is rated at 40W and the Marklla is 60w. I've been usinfg a Vintage 30 for years with no problem. Has anyone here done this? Comments????
