    My initial post probably wasn't clear. I'm running a MK4 combo and want to use the power engine in place of a simul-satellite in order to run my rig in stereo.

    If you are looking for a fast, accurate and easy to read tuner for the stage I strongly recommend the Sonic Research Turbo Tuner. Fantastic tuner in my opinion.

    My apologies if this question appears elsewhere on the board, I've had little luck finding any information on this. Have any of you tried running the Tech 21 Power Engine from the Mk IV's stereo effects loop return? Any opinions on this in general?

    I'd like to thank all the posters on this board for the helpfulness and level of detail of their posts. I've been having trouble with a very weak, fizzly sounding MK IV. I was able to trace the problem to a pair of bad pre-amp tubes, largely because of the efforts of the posters on this forum...
