    Mods for the markIV

well ... I did look at the schematic just for grins , but the way the lead channel gets spliced in before v2 makes it next to impossible to isolate a mod for r2. the only possiblity I see is moving v3a permanently inline , so only v3b gets switched in an out... that would add a gain stage to...

What is it about the Mark IV?

the boogie is legend . the lead channels combination of crunch and elasticity , the switchable eq , loop , tube modes, operating class and power scaling. the Mark IV is like the classic cadillac , with quality and refinements that put it in a league of its own.

    The Mark IV thread....!!

thanks , r2 is 'mid' gain , and my mIV is ok r2 DOES smoke with a boost ! I haven't been able to find any settings where boosting the lead channel approaches what it will do on its own hammering v1 can't compete with adding v3

Stiletto Owners: Stage I vs. Stage II

picked up my first mesa this saturday , a stage one trident . had no idea what it would sound like, no one stocks mesas around here :( I didn't even know they'd revamped it and was bummed when I found out I was holding the 'crap' version, lol. from all the discriptions of the stage II , I'm...
