yeah, the best thing about it i you don't have to remove anything, just solder it in there and if you don't like it, take it back out.

did the C30 mod and wow what a difference. the high end is so much more flexable now and the amp is alot more vocal as others have said. i'm probably gonna leave it be now.

keep in mind that every version of the mark III is different. i talked to mike b today about the mods ahoi listed and it turns out that my blue stripe has no cap at c30 and already has a .005 mf cap in the presence circuit. no 500 pf cap in c30 makes the blue one of the brighter stripes. he also...

i'm looking to get more punch out of my mark 3. i'm using winged c el34's in the outer sockets and the mesa 6l6gc str 440. not sure how old the 6l6's are and it's a blue stripe.

say i wanna use a mark III and a single channel jcm 800 at the same time. how would i be able to switch from dirty being the mark III lead channel and the marshall to just the boogie by itself on the rh channel?
