I opened up my mesa yesterday to inspect the valves when i noticed one of the springs connections was broken, is this easily rectified? only have it a few months and the reverb still works fine, theres still 2 springs intact. Anyone recomend some tubes, theres electro harmonix in them currently

Could someone give me a run through on some valves and there tonal proporties, i have a mesa studio with five( 12ax7s )and a peavey classic 60/60 with 4(6l6s and 12ax7s) i think, anyway thinking of changing the valves. I play modern metal so high gain all the way.
