I had a JCM900 i look back at some recordings and still love some of those sounds. I like CH2 for bright cleans on stage and Channel 1 for the more meatier cleans so I won't sacrifice that for the Marshall sound on stage. But will have a play with ch2 anyway. cheers.

What settings would you use on a roadster to best mimick a Marshall type lead sound.

Doug's was fantastic for me, he gave me heaps of help. He helped me design my preamp with some valves he suggested and my Roadster now sounds flawless. Might have caught him on an off day.

The pre amp tubes are inside cans, should I take them off to tap the tubes? It happens with all my guitars, all different aged strings.
