    Rect-O-Verb Weight

I recently had a rectoverb combo shipped to me and the shipping weight was 65 lb with box and packing materials. I hope you are able to work something out. Good luck!

Reverb Problems on Series 1 Rectoverb Combo

First of all, I would like the thank the folks on this forum who have helped me with this amp so far. I was having several problems with it and most of them have been solved with their help. To recap, I got the rectoverb from e-bay and had some issues. Here is what I have already done: 1)...

New tubes in Rectoverb combo - still having problems

Thanks stokes! If I unplug the footswitch, the reverb is "on" and I still have the problem. The problem only exists on the rhythm channel, or at least it's more noticeable there with the clean tone. I will test it thouroughly on both channels so I know for sure and then give Mesa a call.

New tubes in Rectoverb combo - still having problems

Well, I cleaned and retensioned all the tube sockets and problems #1 and 2 are gone! Woohoo!! I am still having reverb woes in the clean (rhythm channel). New tubes in Rectoverb combo - still having problems

Hey, I just thought of something. When I first got the amp, the power tubes were packed seperately and I had to install them. When I did, I noticed that one of them was so loose that I was afraid it would just fall out of the socket. Since the power tubes had those spring retainer thingies to...

Platy, It's a Dunlop Crybaby classic wah and a Boss digital delay. The guitar is an Ibanez RG Series with humbuckers, I think the are Demarzios. Daisy chaining the power supplies is definitely contributing to the hum, but I think there are other issues as well. Will do some more testing with...

New tubes in Rectoverb combo - still having problems

Thanks for your help, I will check on the tubes when i get a chance. What is the best way to clean the tube sockets, compressed air? And I didn't even know you could retention the sockets. How do you do that? As far as the reverb goes, according to the previous owner, the reverb...

Replaced preamp tubes in Rectoverb combo - still having prob

Thanks tele_jas! We've got a wah pedal in front of the amp and a delay pedal in the FX loop. Using either one of them alone is fine, but both at the same time...woah! Considerably more hum. They don't have to be in use at the same time to cause a double dose of hum, just powered up and...
