    Non Mesa power tubes question

Thanks for the information all! But Unfortunately I still don't know if I can use these tubes in a Recto, Roadster, Mark V, or any other Mesa amp that allows EL34 tubes. You should know that MESA amps works only with Mesa Power Tubes because of the bias matter, unless you order the set of tubes...

New Rectoverb 25 loses gain as it warms up. Any ideas?

Could be tube issues, try first by re-tubing your amp or change the preamp tubes between them. I also have noticed that the front faceplate gets very hot but I never have experienced the main issue.

    Trying EL34's again. Need suggestions.

What about the Mesa EL34 tubes?? Have you tried or heard something about them?? I'm about to buy 2 duets but this is my first time. I have used only the TAD's EL34B STR and sounds great at high volume (gigs). Also I have read that the Mullard tubes kick ***! Check the reviews in the following...

    Rectoverb 25 issue, constant hum.

I also experience a low hum but only when I have something connected in my FXloop. When I disconnect the entire chain the hum goes away. My amp is new so I haven't changed my preamp tubes for new ones so I believe that could be the reason. Let me know your findings =)

Anybody try a different speaker in their Rectoverb 25 combo?

There is a post where someone had changed the Fillmore 75W for a V30 and there was no huge difference, the conclusion was that the case/cab construction was the main reason of the original tone that the combo version has. But when you connect the amp to an external cab it sounds so much better...

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Sure let me explain: This signal that is bleeding is different than the original or normal. How can I note the difference? Because when the volume is at 0 you are able to hear only a treble/harsh sound, is not loud but is there. I also noticed that if you turn down the gain it will disappear...

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Excellent!! Thanks for the info and the recommendation! I will consider to buy an EQ Pedal, could be a MXR or the new Mesa 5 band EQ I also asked to Mesa about this bleeding signal problem and this is what they replied: Volume at 0 will still bleed signal – but do you actually use the amp at...

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Have you tried an ordinary amp power attenuator, the one that connects between the amp and the speaker? Like the following: http://www.suhr.com/jim-kelley-power-attenuator.html

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Thanks Shemham! I believe that could be a valid reason. I wish this amp came with a master volume and separate channel volumes in order to have the best sound at low volume. I guess I will have to buy an amp power attenuator. BR, Dennis ____________ Mesa Rectoverb 25 Combo Blackstar S1 104...

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Thanks Jesse! My rectoverb was made 4-2-2014 so I believe it is normal in these 25W amps. Not a nice thing but when you turn up the volume the sound is killer!!!? BR, Dennis ____________ Mesa Rectoverb 25 Combo Blackstar S1 104 EL34 100W Blackstar S1 PRO 4x12 Cabinet Schecter Hellraiser C-1...

Mesa Rectoverb 25 - Bleeding signal when Modern 10/25W

Hi All, This is demonstration of an ''issue'' that I'm experiencing with the Mesa Rect-O-Verb 25: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm-Q10sr4nI As you can hear in the video the signal is bleeding a fizzy/treble sound that escapes when the volume is at cero. And when I increase the volume more...
