Thanks Aart and GTS, now I'm certain the cab is all original!

It looks like leather, but it is definitely not. When you feel the loose covering at the back, it's like a hard vinyl. Has there ever been an option of very durable vinyl? I'm almost 100 % sure this is an original covering!

Hi guys, I've bought a 4 x 10 mesa cabinet and it seems all original, but it has a covering which I've seenjust a few times on a Mesa and I still have some questions. Anyone out there who knows about these things?........ The cab has a serial number: C14839 (what year? .... I can't find...

Road king II, Brit mode, Reverb problem???? I have almost no reverb signal when I use the brit mode on ch2 with max reverb. Reverb on other chanels is ok. Has anyone had the same problem or is this normal???? Cheers
