    replacing single coil pickups

This happens with aftermarket non-humbucking singles too. Should be no problem.

    The boogie killer...

I own both a Mesa Stiletto Ace and an Orange Dual Terror. They sound 100% different from each other. Both are great amps.

Ace 1-12 combo, GEQ in loop.

I use graphic in the loop of my Stiletto Ace head. In fact, every Mesa I've owned, with the exception of the Blue Angel, benefitted with a graphic. The Nomad and the DC-5 had them already, of course.

    LPC Silverburst

There is a magic chemistry to the Norlin-era Custom, I believe. The mix: - Maple neck with ebony board - Maple top on mahogany body - Thick paint with nitro finish It works! That's all we need, it works!

    Basson Cabinets

I use two 1x12 Bassons for stereo effects in my wet/dry/wet rig. They are loud, clean and punchy. No unwanted speaker distortion. Highly recommended.

    Stiletto Ace rectifier tube problem

Never had this problem with my Stiletto head. Of course, I rarely use the tube rectifier myself. I prefer the tightness of the solid state.

    Halloween Set List Revisited

It depends on your band's style, but here are a couple I used back in the day: "Strange Night" - Heart "Let's Get Crazy" - Quiet Riot

    Crate Powerblock

Red Iron Amps was at the Nashville Amp Expo this past August. They were demoing their buffer, and the rig included a POD and a Crate Power Block. The tube-based buffer made a huge difference! I played the rig with my Charvel San Dimas, and it was one of the best hard rock/metal tones I've ever...

    Valvulator

I like my Valvulator better at the end of my pedalboard instead of before everything. It's right at that point when the signal starts to weaken, and the V1 pumps it back up again. But I heard something better last weekend - the Buffer2 from Red Iron Amps.
