Bore oil works great. I get mine here: http://www.beafifer.com/boredoctor.htm I have 9 guitars and the larger size bottle lasts me forever. I probably oil the fretboards every other or third string change.

I run a Boss GE-7 EQ pedal, Boss RV-5 reverb pedal and an old Ibanez SC-10 chorus through the effects loop and they all work great. I haven't had any problems at all. In front of the amp I have a crybaby, Line 6 Constrictor and an OCD.
