hey, do the loop test on it and you will know if it's a "+" I think on my C+'s there is a very slight volume swell when footswitching lead to clean, but it's instant from clean to lead. Both of mine were just serviced at the mesa factory, so i'm guessing it's fairly common with those amps...

anyone ever (like once a year, or once every two years) let the tubes heat on standby for 24 hours to let the getters pull a better vacuum again? I read this somewhere, but I'm guessing it's better for NOS tubes that last for years, depending on use scott

Why do you think when tubes are listed for sale, and they are tested... the seller says the tubes read 50 whatever with a minimum good reading of 25. don't I need more info, like the max reading to really get an idea how much life is left? or am i missing something? scott
