    ElectroVoice EVM-12L for LSC?

I took 2 EV's out of my old Music man and tried to put them in my Lonestar and they did not fit, the magnets rest on the reverb tank.

Anyone else having problems with the longevity of Mesa tubes

I put GT 6l6-s-gold series grade 4 in my Lonestar and they changed the sound of the amp,the amp seems cleaner and I'm not sure if that is better.I'm trying to play it for a few weeks and make a decision on it.I think they are rebranded JJs. Maybe I'll get 8 months out of these.

    lone star tubes

I use it 10 to 15 hours a week and always use the standby on breaks, I have a tech working on it now and he says the tubes are bad once again. I was thinking maybe I'm getting crap tubes from Mesa and I ought to change brands.Would bad tubes blow the screen grid resistor?

    lone star tubes

I have a 2 year old Lonestar classic that I am really getting tired of replacing tubes in (mesa 6l6 red) twice in 18 months! Now I have to replace again plus a blown grid resistor, any thoughts on Groove tubes and reliability issues?
