how about using pedals out front. I got a couple of Marshall pedals - could I use them for Marshall tones, and flip off for that creamy Mesa roar, or if I buy this recto am I f@cked? I'd imagine the pushed channel would work for Jimi, AC/DC etc... maybe I'll take a trip to see it.

is it possible? I've found a rectoverb with EL34s on ebay for a resonable price, but I'm worried it won't be good for my AC/DC, Jimi, Thin Lizzy etc. Anyone comment on that?

What are some of the good/bad points of this amp? How loud/quiet can it play (would it get bedroom volumes or will I need an attenuator?) What styles is it good for? I love Mesa tone, but I've always found the crunchy, gritty OD of EL34s/EL84s suits my style better than the smooth, rich 6L6...
