Does anyone have the Triple Rec footswitch pinout? My friend has on and the footswitch isn't powering up. He tested the cable on another amp and it's fine. I'd like the pinout to see if the power pin is putting out current. I've tried searching and googling to no avail. Thanks

Check out www.eurotubes.com, I don't know if he ships to Australia or not but he can hook you up with a set of JJ's that will play well with it. I like the JJ EL34L's in my single although I really want to try the KT88's as well.

No experience with either of those but the 1x12 Thiele cab is amazing.

There are 3 bias methods. 1. Cathode bias. Requires no adjustment or tube choices, just pop new tubes in and go. Most single ended Class A amps use this. 2. Fixed adjustable bias. Majority of the amps out there use this. NOT Mesa though. Bias has to be set when changing output tubes. 3...

It's no big deal. You can leave them off forever if you want. They're helpful if the tubes are hanging upside down to keep them from falling out but they're not essential.

WooHoo!! Fixed it!! Turns out it was a burnt out resistor on the power tube socket board. I was hoping it would be something simple and obvious and sure enough it was. Sounds like a whole new amp. Thanks for all the support and suggestions :D

No but I'll give it a shot. I've had that problem before. Most recently with a Laney AOR 30. I doubt that that's what's going on here but will definitely try it, thanks.
