I am thinking about porting my 2x12 Rectocab. Has anybody ever done this? A buddy of mine just bought an Earcandy Buzzbomb ported 2x12 with Emi Wizard speakers and it sounds awesome.

Thanks, everything sounds okay right now. The cleans are actually very nice but I'm having a hard time getting a good high gain sound. The speakers really need some break in so I'm going to play the hell out of them this weekend. I'm sure after the break in period everything will start sounding...

Hi all, just got my Rectoverb head a few weeks ago and not sure I'm connecting it to my 2x12 Rectocab properly. Which output from the head should I be using? I currently have it on the 8 ohm out but am not sure if this is correct. The cab is loaded with V30's.

Hi all, just got my Rectoverb head and 2x12 Recto cab yesterday. I am a bit confused about the speakers that are in there. I know they're V30's but they are Black Shadow V30's. Is there a difference between those and the standard Celestion V30 speaker? Thnx
