I have a C+ Simulclass and was wondering if I could run 2 EL 34's in 2 sockets and 6L6's in the other. I think for Simulclass the inner 2 sockets and the outer 2 are the breakdown for Class A vs Simulclass... What 2 sockets could I put them in and how will it affect the tone? Thanks!

No Shantiano - Just pull the reverb cables out from underneath the chassis and solder a 2 inch general purpose wire from the outside of one flange to the outside of the other. Be careful not to get solder on the inside of the flanges as this would affect how it slips over the female receptacle...

The "Bassy" buzz in lead channel was unrelated to my reverb problem, it was caused by the black oxide washers. My reverb problem was like yours, it increased as I turned up the reverb knob, kind of like a buzz as well, even without cables patched in... SO the soldering job was a possible fix...

Two things concern me - I can't make out any "MB" initials on the area near the power chord which I thought had to be there if it was upgraded by MB at MB... They could be there though... Also I can't make out the type of speaker it is. I would think you're trying to get an original C-C+ amp...

My understanding is that Black Shadow is only the sticker that is placed on the back of the speaker by Mesa. It can be, based on the type of cabinet and date produced, be a Celestion, Emminence (not sure) or EV. These are companies that produce speakers for Mesa...
