Mark V Channel Switching & You!

Are you getting pops when switching (outside of the 10w-90w settings, documented scenarios). Essentially pops when you are not supposed to get them?

    Head weight?

WOW! I'm hoping there's at least 10 lbs of packaging! My head just came in, but haven't picked it up yet. Was hoping I'd be able to use it for open blues jams..but maybe i'll need to stick with the blues jr for those.

    Mark V for Blues?

I appreciate all the responses. To clarify, I never said "The Mark V can't do metal". Simply put, i was referring to the number of threads I've read. The main reason I am interested is for the implied versatility. I have not had enough time with the amp to say anything about what it does or...

    Mark V for Blues?

I've read all the discussions on the Mark not being able to do Metal, was just curious everyone's opinions on it doing Blues. I play just about all kinds of music from R&B and old school blues to probably the heaviest stuff being music like Sixx Am or Foo Fighters. Am waiting on the head and...

    Mark V Combo rattlings!

I guess my next question would be if any head owners have this issue? I know it is a remote possibility cause the tubes are not sitting next to the speaker. But ya never know. Especially if the tube sockets are "loose" like mine...they just didn't hold the tubes firmly enough.

    Mark V Combo rattlings!

I had the exact same problem and I mean EXACT and have taken the amp back to the dealer and am getting a head! The dealer swapped some tubes that appeared to be bad and the same thing happened with the new ones. They pulled the chassis out and the rattling stopped. I was worried that this...

    Mark V Stupid EQ question

I know I'm going to sound like an idiot and that's ok... I've never owned a Mark, so bare with me, does the graphic EQ when engaged take over in place of, OR add to the channel EQ? I'm still learning how to tweak...as i read in another thread where the person was a classic rock player...

    Mark V Problem

I just got a Mark V combo and while on channel 1 I am getting all kinds of tube rattle/hiss when a bass note rings out. I've checked all tubes for a tight fit....is it possible that its a bad tube or something loose in the cab? Taking it back to my dealer tomorrow just didn't know if I...
