Please excuse my ignorance, but I just got a mark v and played with it for a few minutes tonight. On channel 2, going from the crunch mode to mark I, is a worlds difference. The mark I mode sounds like its under water, full of saturation and the volume is significantly less than the crunch...

Alright, well either way, "Not adviseable to operate the amp while in the tray of the case, due to the air vent opening on the bottom of the amp." Whatever that means.

Might be a dumb question, but I've heard that using a case with the Mark V isn't the best idea because it get's ventilation from beneath the amp...? Therefor, if a case is restricting flow from underneath, it could cause some problems/overheating. Anyone heard of this? Such as the red writing...
