Hello Boogieboarders! I´ve had a mark 4 for around 6 moths, I´m the second owner of the amp. It came with four 6550 ruby power tubes, 3 moths ago, suddenly the amp started to make a strange noise and one power tube started to get hot and turned orange while the other tubes turned completely off...

i will go for 6l6s what do a should buy? mach pair , quad pair, what does means the color on the botton of the tube?

so you recomend to keep using four 6l6's? insted of change to a pair of el34 and pair 6l6's or four 6v6's

same happen to my mark 4 one tube was off and the other like a sun, now i am looking for new tubes, do someone know how sound a mark 4 with 2 el34's and 2 6l6's? i read in the manual you can use that combination, i like to play metal and jazz, i dont whant that blues tones
