    Reverb tank for my Rectoverb

Hal, You are correct, my tank is almost identical to yours except that mine is the medium delay time, so my number is 9BB2A1B.

    Reverb tank for my Rectoverb

I've pretty much narrowed down my dead reverb issue to the tank. I measured the resistance across the output RCA connector and it's open when it should be around 2.5k. The problem is because I don't know who owned the amp when the reverb quit working, I don't know if its the original tank...

What's a fair asking price for a used Rectoverb?

Well, you make a good point. I've pretty much decided to just keep it anyway.

    Rectoverb problem

Thanks, that fixed it right up, it was just a dirty pot afterall!

What's a fair asking price for a used Rectoverb?

Mine's a series II, but the reverb doesn't work. Not sure how that will affect it.

What's a fair asking price for a used Rectoverb?

I'm thinking of selling mine and I wanted some opinions on a fair asking price. The thing is, the reverb doesn't work, but everything else is fine. I've also had the effects loop modded to a serial loop, which works better with my delay and EQ pedals. Anyway, the amp is in great shape...

    Rectoverb problem

Hey guys, I've got an issue with my rectoverb, it seems that on the clean channel my treble pot is acting up. Initially it sounds like the treble is all the way off, then if I turn the treble knob it intermittently comes back, that is until I play a note then it dulls out again. I'm hoping the...

    Effects loop Mod....

Nah, I didn't do the switch. I might add a switch for it later though, it shouldn't be that difficult.

    Effects loop Mod....

It was easy, basically all I had to do was remove one wire and move another.

who can send me Loop mod schematics for 2CH Dual rectifier ?

Yes, I know. I didn't get a schematic, I got a copy of their hand-written mod sheet that shows how to convert the parallel loop to a serial loop. I'm pretty sure they have the same thing for other models as well. BTW I'm not a Mesa authorized tech either.

who can send me Loop mod schematics for 2CH Dual rectifier ?

Maybe call Mesa? I called them and they sent me a copy of the loop mod for my Rectoverb. Works great and was easy to do.

    Effects loop Mod....

I modded my Rectoverb a couple days ago. Just called Mesa up, got them to email me the mod sheet. Took about 10 minutes. Now my delay pedal is usable! I'm happy with the mod.

    Parallel -> serial loop mod

I've seen references to this mode on this board, but I can't seem to find the post with the link to the info on it. Does anyone have the info or schematics, etc for this mod? I'm pretty sure I remember hearing that its just a matter of move a couple of wires around on the 'mix' pot?

    Effects for Rectoverb

I've been thinking of doing that, but I wonder if it will be an improvment or not.

    Effects for Rectoverb

Looks like the M-300 has been discontinued, I can't find it at any of the major online stores.

    Effects for Rectoverb

Hey guys, I need some ideas for an effects processor that would work well with a Rectoverb. It has a parallel effects loop so I'm probably going to have to go with a rack type unit. I only need delays and reverbs and I'd like to stay in the <=$400 range. G-major comes to mind, and I think...

    My boogie is toooo buzzy.

I've never like the T-75's with Rectos. I would try V30's or C90's.

    Mesa Stiletto users settings!!!!!

Is that 3 o'clock and 4 'oclock on the volumes? Anway, I tried the settings at bedroom volume using a Marshall 2x12 with V30's and an Ibanez RG with a JB in the bridge and it sounded pretty decent. It's no worse than any of the other settings I've been able to come up with. O yea...

    Volume Control

Yes, that output control can be sensitive, but don't forget you can also control volume with the channel master as well. It changes the tone a bit, but you can play with each control to find the right balance for low volume playing.

    Buyers Remorse rambling

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't rectifiers get most of their tone from the preamp anyway? There probably isn't much point in trying to get power tube saturation from a recto. I think mine sounds fine at bedroom volumes, of course it does sound better when cranked. You may have to EQ it...
