    update. The R2 led is mysteriously back on again.

    the "loop" LED above the Power switch is quite dull and the R2 Led is gone alltogether. Are these easy to replace? If so, i could try. I have basic soldering skills. Any advice?

    ok cool! Any other suggestions. i remember reading somewhere things like "i use a tungsol reissue in the V3 and V2, a JJ 12AX7 in the V3" Etc etc. anyone give me specific positions and a good place to buy tubes?
