My third visit to the Mesa/Boogie Hollywood store . . .

The Mk IV just IS tighter and more versatile than any rectifier. And the framus cobra? I used to own one, exchanged it with the roadster, and now the roadster is gone and i am back to Mk IV again.. just love it! The Cobra was never really my cup of tea.. it did have one cool feature though, a...

    The Mark IV thread....!!

Well... that's a tough one.. I'm afraid i have to say "both!". The roadster is amazing! It's clean channels are just perfect, and the 3rd and 4th channel are everything that made the dual rectifier famous, and then some.. I used to own a triple recto, and the roadster is just so much better...

Clue solved. It's for the american market. I don't have a clue if its modded by someone professional, but it doesn't look like it. So, I guess I am not buying it, unless the seller can dig out the history behind it, to see if it has been modded or if someone just exchanged the power plug...

Roadster volume drop and then swell when changing channels.

Heya I have a roadster head that sounds like a charm.. And all is well until it gets hot. After about 30-60 minutes when i change channels the volume drops to zero and there is a delay of 4-6 seconds before the volume of the amp is at normal levels. At first when i switch channel there is...

    Mk IV dropping treble?

Ok.. What happens is the exact thing Bullen is describing. It sounds normal at first and then it just looses the trebs, and becomes muddy (woofy). Turn it off, wait for a minute, turn it on, and it's back to normal again.. You know what Bullen, i can't see if a knob has been replaced since...
