    The Mark IIA Shined Last Night

    Mine was born in '78. Once the reverb issue is addressed by a knowledgeable tech, I believe they are the best sounding Boogies out there. Similar in sound to a MkI, but more focussed.

    I have one of the earliest IIAs (made in '78) and it does have the Master and Lead Master knobs on it...as well as a factory installed adjustable bias (something rarely found on Boogies). I had the amp serviced by Mike Bendinelli who confirmed all of this, so the Boogie files you're referring...

    Yes...with a hempcone. I've got plenty of original JBL cones. The cone in one is shot and correct new kits haven't been available for years. I've posted this same question on their forum but have had no reponse for weeks...thought I'd try here. Just thought I'd see what kind of experience...
