Bye Bye Single Rectifier..HELLO Mark III !!!!

Hmm, interesting. Remember when we talked about Patty; I saw this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSQedB8y3dc It's funny he plays a dual rectifier. I can't believe it. There has to be a lotta effects and pedals to make that less plastic sound for him lol.

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

Actually I tend to disagree on this. I think the clean channel with its original 6l6 was perfectly fine. But you know, no body mentioned anything about the preamps here. I think it'd be helpful if we could share something on that as well; if anyone has done any modifications on the preamps...

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

Look, I didn't wanna allegedly say anything but you've been kind of annoying. First you come in with your milk chocolate insight, totally irrelevant to the topic. I mean, it shouldn't matter to you because you gave what you had, and it didn't work. I wouldn't comment anymore. Take it easy, pal!

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

The Winged C pair just makes it brighter. Has more mid range and high end, but they All have a good crunchy tone, I think. It's personal preference. However, forget KCA. That dude wants $100 down minimum before he sends something out.

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

What are you sayin?? Look, dude, regardless of the tubes, even though I already tried a couple pairs just to prove a point, this thing is plastic. With that kinda money it's not just worth it. How come my 5150 can go extremely low, no problem. Less features, simple design, pure power. One...

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

Thanks, dude. Yeah I definitely have to do an upgrade on this. I don't like it at all. Neither this pair nor the EL34s. I want something with bass.

6L6GCMSTR OR EL34 Tubes? In A Mesa Rectifier Head

Cool but let's say I was buying it from an online source. What then? By the way, isn't the winged an old school tube? More rockish than metalish?

    SIDE ARMOR DIAMOND PLATE

 Forget it! Here's what I'm gonna do. Buy some plates. Cut 'em and then pour some glue, or make some holes with the dremel tool then screw 'em to the tolex area. I'll keep you posted.

Will this Mesa accept it? I think it's a fixed bias set. Let me know.

    SIDE ARMOR DIAMOND PLATE

What kind of machinery do you need for cutting and folding? Can't do it with scissors? I wouldn't think they're that tough so they can't be folded, huh?
