    I just wanted to know how much they change the sound in a Mesa Amp. I currently am waiting on an F-50 to arrive and I thought i'd give these a shot in this amp for a different flavor.

    Has anyone ever used one of these in their amps? It supposedly changes the pin configuration and voltage so a el84 can fit in a el34 or 6l6 slot.

    GC loses Mesa?

    Maybe its because they can't keep the same quality as old. I've read on this board a couple of times that the express 5:25 and 5:50 were having some problems with quality...

    Easiest thing is to check EBay to see what they are going for there. If i had the cash i'd go for it, but my saving plan hasn't reached that level juuust yet.... :(
